Speed of operation HydraNuts are simply screwed onto the service bolts by hand, connected together with flexible hydraulic hoses with quick couplings, and then all nuts are pressurized simultaneously. Around 2 hours is all that is required to tighten or remove the Turbine horizontal joint bolts. Furthermore, the vertical joint can also be tightened in a similar timescale. This saves many hours on both installation and removal when compared to current methods.
No modifications there are no modifications required to either the bolting or the casing. The nuts are threaded to fit the service bolts and are a direct replacement for the existing nuts.
